Welcome to Courtroom Chaos! All rise for Judge Snoop Dogg!
In collaboration with Amber and with contributions from Death Row Games, Amazon Game Studios is proud to introduce Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg—a hilarious, human-built, AI-powered experience quite unlike anything you’ve ever played before.
Courtroom Chaos is what happens when your game night enters the courtroom. The cases may be fake, but the laughs are 100% real. You and your friends or family members take turns improvising your testimonies, inventing absurd characters, spinning wild stories, and doing anything it takes to defend your cases. And it’s all moderated by the dynamic, AI-powered Judge Snoop Dogg who holds court, challenges your team, and reacts contextually to your testimony, all before delivering his final verdict.
No gaming hardware. No scripts. Just your voice, your imagination, and whatever chaos you bring to the bench.
The opportunity to star as the judge in Courtroom Chaos was one that Snoop simply couldn’t pass up. “I always like being first, and I felt like there’s nobody in my world doing anything like it,” he said. “I grew up watching The People’s Court, certain TV shows that have court elements. It was intriguing to actually be the judge in court as opposed to being a defendant or a plaintiff, and it felt like it would be something fun. And I only do things that are fun.”
“We’re so excited to finally introduce Courtroom Chaos to the world,” said J.C. Connors, Amazon Game Studios GM. “Courtroom Chaos is an entirely new kind of experience — it’s chaos, comedy, and creativity all rolled together, powered by AI that makes every trial feel fresh, funny, and totally unpredictable.”
As part of Luna’s newest collection of titles, GameNight, Courtroom Chaos is designed for easy, accessible group play for friends and family in the living room.
“Courtroom Chaos is incredibly approachable by design,” said Connors. “You can jump right in and immediately have a great time even if you’ve never played a game before. Just push one button on your phone and you’re talking to Snoop. It’s perfect for small get-togethers or living-room parties, either as a way to have a laugh with friends and family or as an icebreaker for new acquaintances.”
Up to six players make up two teams—the Plaintiff and the Defendant—and need only their mobile phones to join in on the fun. Just scan the QR code on your living-room TV and your phone becomes your controller, enabling simple touch and voice inputs. Courtroom Chaos recognizes and promptly responds contextually to natural language, so players can simply speak into their phone’s microphone to deliver their testimonies.
For the introverts among us who may not feel as comfortable delivering testimony in front of an audience and a tough judge like Snoop, Courtroom Chaos includes a feature called “Witness Roles.” This lets the host establish varying levels of involvement per player, contributing to their team’s performance in ways that align with their comfort levels.
Courtroom Chaos puts you on trial before the one and only Judge Snoop, who lends his voice, look, and personality to hear your testimony, grill your arguments, and deliver his final verdict—all based on whatever wild story you spin on the spot. This is improvisational roleplaying few games have achieved: no dialogue trees, no scripted endings, just pure creative chaos. Players face off in a fast-paced courtroom showdown, crafting convincing (or ridiculous) defenses while trying to win over Snoop’s unique sense of justice. Every case is original, every exchange unpredictable, and every reaction from the Judge is pure Snoop.
“Snoop himself is a key part of what makes this whole experience so especially unique and compelling,” said Connors. “He’s gone beyond global hip hop sensation to being an iconic pop-culture personality that people everywhere relate to. He’s also genuinely funny and players will laugh at his jokes, nod to his wisdom, and their jaws will hit the floor when he puts them in their place!”
So what kind of judge can players expect Snoop to be when they fire up Courtroom Chaos? We took that question to the man himself: “A fair judge but reasonable, and at the same time, he has a lot of common sense. So if you try to run a fast one on him, he’s gonna catch on, he’s gonna understand who’s really telling the truth. So the more ammunition you have, the more prepared you are in court, then you’ll get the judge you was lookin’ for. But the more unprepared you are, you gonna get a judge you weren’t expecting.”
Courtroom Chaos is coming soon to Prime members and Luna Premium subscribers in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
