As October winds down and Fall marches on, the weather gets colder, a fog settles over Arkesia, and it’s time to clear the air and provide some visibility into Lost Ark’s latest update, the Fog of Diaspero!
The corruption that began in the depths has crossed the Kurzan Abyss, tainting the seas. The long-lost body of Kazeros has begun to take form within the fog, bringing Arkesia closer to its prophesied war. The October update introduces exciting new content and prepares players for the ultimate confrontation with Kazeros, the Lord of the Abyss.
Kazeros Raid Prelude: Destined Trajectory
Embark on a prologue questline that sets the stage for the narrative climax against Kazeros. Journey's Trace, a new NPC in Elnead, will guide you through this roster-wide quest that requires completion of the Act 1 through 3 prologue quests, the Rimeria World Quest, and Hyper Awakening Quests. This prelude is mandatory for entering the upcoming Act 4 Kazeros Raid and offers two new achievements.
Proving Grounds Season 7
Season 7 marks the first Competitive Match season featuring the Three Champions Game Mode. Fury PvP participation is available from Ultra 1 tier and above, with standard competitive ratings adjustments and seasonal rewards when Season 7 concludes next year. Quality of life improvements include top-ranked builds appearing in the Book of Coordination.
New Events and Rewards
Arktober Lucky Box Event: Complete daily and special missions until December 17 to earn Lucky Boxes containing honing materials, trade items, cards, and potentially Surprise Boxes with valuable rewards like Relic Engraving Selection Chests and Legendary Card Selection Packs.
Mist Knight Ark Pass: Progress through 30 Ark Pass levels to earn rewards across your roster. The free track includes Pheons, honing materials, and card packs, while Premium and Super Premium tracks offer additional rewards including the exclusive Mist Knight skins, Fluffy cat mount and pet.
General Updates
The October update also brings numerous quality of life improvements, including gem management enhancements, expanded block list capacity, improved search functionality, and Chaos Dungeon UI improvements. Combat Analyzer adjustments and system updates further enhance the gameplay experience. There will also be festive new Halloween-themed cosmetics to collect!
Balance Updates
The Korean Balance patch that arrived alongside Kazeros has been implemented, allowing players to test class changes before facing the Lord of the Abyss. Notable adjustments include modifications to Ark Passives across all classes, with significant changes to Berserker, Destroyer, Paladin, Scrapper, Glaivier, and more.
